This cake lifter is made in Sheffield in Athena pattern. This classic design in based on "Grecian" design but has the addition of decorative lines bordering the handle to add just the right amount of interest.
The cake lifter is flanged. That is to say it has a step down almost like a shovel so that cake, gateaux and pies are easy to lift.
