Trading Terms

Cutlery and Catering is the internet arm of Heritage Silver.

Please note it is illegal for us to sell knives to anyone under the age of 18.  By purchasing any kind of knife from us, you are stating that you are over 18 years old.

Ordering From Cutlery and Catering:

Browse through our catalogue and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping basket. When you have made your selection, click on “checkout” You will then be asked to provide details so that we can process the order. Orders can only be sent to the billing address of the cardholder placing an order.

We have a secure payment system provided by Streamline so you may purchase from us with confidence. We also have Google Checkout with SSL.

Delivery schedule:

We try to process all orders, where possible, within 48 hours. Whilst most items will be despatched within two working days, please allow 3-5 days for delivery within the UK. 5-7 days for Europe and 7-14 days Rest of World.

Payment:

Cheques should be made payable to Heritage Silver.  (Cutlery and Catering is the internet arm of Heritage Silver.) Please allow time for them to clear.

We also accept PayPal, (safe online payments that allow you to pay with your credit or debit card. )

Payment may be made using major credit and debit cards   via our secure payment system. This is provided by Streamline in conjuction with WorldPay a member of the RBoS group.  We also accept payments via Google Checkout. We also accept telephone payments.

Buyers from outside the UK please note that we cannot accept cheques , postal orders or money orders in any currency other than U.K. pounds.

Packaging:

At Cutlery and Catering, we want you to receive your purchase in the same great condition it left us. In the unlikely event that an item should arrive damaged due to our negligence, simply contact us within 7 days of receipt to arrange to return the item and a replacement will be mailed out free of any charge.

Deliveries to UK mainland

For UK mainland deliveries, postage will be charged at £3.50. So you may add as many products as you wish if you live in the areas stated. We reserve the right to charge extra for deliveries outside mainland U.K., the Scottish Highlands and some parts of Western Scotland. If you live in one of these areas or outside mainland U.K. please e mail us for a postage and packing quote prior to purchase.

Items mailed within the UK will normally be sent via Royal Mail. Heavier items may be sent Parcel Force 48 hour and will normally be insured for the full replacement value of the item. Cutlery and Catering reserves the right to replace any of the above services, without notice, for a similar or enhanced service, where we deem it to be more appropriate.

Overseas & non-mainland UK:

(this includes Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Scottish Highlands and islands and some parts of Western Scotland etc.)

 For non mailnaland U.K. deliveries we will charge £3.50 for all orders exept those sent via Parcelforce. Please contact for delivery charge if unsure.

For Europe the cost will be £8.50 for the first item and £2 for each additional item.  For the rest of the world the cost will be £12 for the first item and £2 for each additional item.

Cutlery and Catering reserves the right to replace any of the above services, without notice, for a similar or enhanced service, where we deem it to be more appropriate.

 Returns:

If, on receipt of your item, it is found to be faulty or not as described, we offer full refund. If you simply change your mind, we will refund the cost of goods only ( Please note:this will not apply to goods ordered in specially for you which we do not nromally stock) and the customer will be responsible for all postage and packaging costs. Goods should be returned in original,unopened packaging, unused and in resaleable condition. All goods should be returned within 7 days of receipt and you should contact us first to arrange return. Please enclose packing slip with the item stating the reason for the return. Please note that returned goods in transit are the responsibility of the customer. Privacy Policy:

This privacy sets out how Cutlery and Catering. Co. UK  , the internet arm of Heritage Silver,uses and protects any information that you give to us when you use this web site.

     We are committed to ensuring your privacy is protected. What we collect: name, contact information including email address, post code. We will use this information only for internal administration purposes.i.e to send out your goods and keep internal records.  We will use it to send you information about our products and services periodically only if you have requested that we do so. We do not pass information to third parties.
