Sometimes these little forks are called sprorks or sporks , sometimes they are called knorks and sometimes, simply, buffet forks. They are a cross between a knife, a spoon and a fork all in one implement. They are ideal, also, to use as cake forks.
One side of the item has a serrated edge so that it cuts like a knife; there are prongs (or tines) like a fork but shorter and flatter than you usually find and a spoon- type bowl at the end of them.
